Thurso lifeboats website.
SHOUTS 2008 UPDATED 25June08
Established in 1860,

map) this station covers the south side of the Pentland Firth
and the north coast of Scotland to Cape Wrath
and been responsible for saving in excess of 600 lives
during 375+ launches. Over the years there has been 11
dedicated lifeboats as well as a number of temporary
